Meet at 10:00 at the Cookham Moor National Trust Car Park, High Street, Cookham, SL6 9SG (parking charges apply unless you are an NT member).

Cock Marsh is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and is home to many rare plants. It is an area of flat water-meadows and steep, chalk hillsides on the River Thames. It has been common land used for grazing since 1272. This is a late season meeting specifically, we hope, to see Brown Galingale Cyperus fuscus, but there will be other plants of interest including Pale Toadflax Linaria repens, Nodding Bur-marigold Bidens cernua and left- over leaves of Water-violet Hottonia palustris.
