The Wild Flower Society is proud to be a long term supporter of Margaret Bradshaw’s Teesdale Special Flora Project.

The WFS has made a five year grant to provide ongoing support to the project.

In June 2023, members of the Wild Flower Society had a two day field trip to Teesdale, starting with an Alchemilla workshop led by Margaret Bradshaw, and exploring the bankside flora of the River Tees at Low Force the following day, with Margaret Bradshaw and Lizzie Maddison. The Field outing reports were published in the Winter 2023 Magazine.

There is a WFS three day field outing to Teesdale in June 2024.

Margaret Bradshaw’s book Teesdale’s Special Flora was published earlier this year.
