Wednesday 7th August: Black Ditch, Minchinhampton Common, near Stroud

Meet at 11:00 at the covered reservoir on the top of the common Grid Ref. SO855012.

Black Ditch has a series of springs on the edge of the Common which have some interesting plants including Flat-sedge Blysmus compressus and Whorl-grass Catabrosa aquatica. There is also Juniper Juniperus communis nearby as well as a rich calcareous flora.
