We are very grateful to Colin French for repeating this meeting in 2024. It is a repeat of the 2023 WFS Field Meeting in Cornwall.

 The location of the Field Meeting on the Wednesday will be agreed during the Tuesday meeting and times and meeting place given.

Tuesday 21st May: Kynance Cove

Meet at 10:00 at the National Trust car park at Kynance Cove, The Lizard, Helston, TR12 7PJ Parking is free for NT members and there is a Pay and Display machine which takes coins or there is a pay by phone app which you can download before your visit

There are toilets in the car park and in the Kynance Cove Café.

Flowers that we could see include Twin-headed Clover Trifolium bocconei, Upright Clover T. strictum, Long-headed Clover T. incarnatum subsp. molinerii, Wild Asparagus Asparagus prostratus, Fringed Rupturewort Herniaria ciliolata subsp. ciliolata, Dwarf Rush Juncus capitatus, Spotted Cat’s-ear Hypochaeris maculata, Land Quillwort Isoetes histrix, Allseed Linum radiola, Thyme Broomrape Orobanche alba- to mention just a few.
