The area has a good dune-slack flora. It is the re-introduction site for Sharp Club-rush Schoenoplectus pungens and there is also Perennial Ragweed Ambrosia psilostachya which may be just about flowering. Baltic Rush Juncus balticus grows here and there is good stand of its hybrid with Hard Rush J. inflexus nearby.
