Meet at 9:30 by the building at the bus stop at the Madingley Road Park and Ride site on the west side of Cambridge, CB3 0EX; Grid Ref: TL425594. We will be heading for sites on the outskirts of the city or just a few miles further out. There may be a significant walk to the first site where we will encounter some wet ground and rough walking. We should see plants such as the alien variant of Square-stemmed Willowherb Epilobium tetragonum ssp. tournefortii and its hybrids with hirsutum, parviflorum and ssp. tetragonum, the grasses Swamp Meadow-grass Poa palustris and American Sloughgrass Beckmannia syzigachne, the hybrid oak Quercus x cerrisoana (robur x canariensis), Stinking Hawksbeard Crepis foetida ssp. rhoeadifolia, White Comfrey x Common Comfrey Symphytum x ferrariense, and maybe other things, as time permits.

Numbers will be limited to 10 to make the logistics easier.
