Meet at 10:30, park at Grid Ref: SJ55723627; what3words: ///means.faced.alternate. This is on a side road just off the A49. Prees Heath lies between the A49 and A41 roads to the south of Whitchurch in North Shropshire.
The site holds sandy grassland, scrub and heathland on the site of an old airfield with a range of spring annuals including Shepherd’s Cress Teesdalia nudicaulis, Early and Changing Forget-me-nots Myosotis ramosissima and M.discolor and Little Mouse-ear Cerastium semidecandrum. There is a chance of finding Moonwort Botrychium lunaria. The site is well used by dog walkers, so parking spaces can get full.
